Responsibilities:

  • Maintain gathering facilities, performing maintenance and repairs on, dehydration equipment, amine units, measurement equipment, pipeline equipment and right-of-ways, and all administrative functions associated with these duties
  • Work independently under periodic supervision for highly complex and non-routine tasks
  • Perform testing and calibration of measurement with flow computers and transmitters
  • Regularly perform a wide spectrum of non-routine, moderate to high-complexity assignments requiring technical evaluation
  • Ability to apply fundamental economic evaluations and present recommendations
  • Maintain confidentialities while demonstrating professional conduct and business ethics
  • Consistently display proficiency in teamwork, interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • Readily identify, promptly act upon or efficiently organize any efforts needed to address safety and operational efficiencies, and protection of community, personnel, environment and assets
  • Must be proficient in pigging activities

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the natural gas industry or related field
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
  • Must be available for some overtime during nights, weekends and holidays
  • Good driving record (this position requires extensive driving)
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with William’s employees, contractors and landowners
  • Support mechanical and instrumentation control activities associated with turbines, compressors, amine, and measurement systems to ensure balances are within the established limits
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat for long periods of time
  • Willingness to accurately operate 4X4 vehicles
  • Be willing to work in extremely hot and cold temperatures and enclosed spaces
  • Be able to carry and lift items that can weigh 50lbs or more
  • Possess an Associates’ degree in Instrumentation, Controls Technology, Electronics or Mechanical and/or two (2) to three (3) years oil and gas processing plant experience is preferred
  • A Vo-Tech Certification is preferred
