Entry level Survey Drafter/Coordinator


Job Duties



As-Built Alignment Preparation for all 4 hubs in the Northeast (USH, ORSH, SSH, BSH)

Survey Data Migration and auditing for all 4 hubs – ftp sites to final resting place, Buzzsaw, Sharepoint, etc.

IRDP (Initial Route Development) plan preparation for all 4 hubs

RDP (Route Development Plan) plan preparation for SSH/BSH

Support current Survey Coordinators as needed with Survey and Routing

Help ensure adherence and structure around One NE process for survey and routing

Line Status and other coordination with GIS


Secondary Responsibilities

Occasional field work in BSH/SSH, including data collection on route walks, field audits of 3rd party survey, preliminary survey data collection, survey staking for pipeline and facilities, as-built survey support for pipeline and facilities.

Population of process tracking, JSA auditing, vendor quality audit reports

Compliance and other Environmental support

Class Studies


Other Possibilities:

Drone scanning for as-built, monitoring or routing

Creating intelligent 3-D as-built models of facilities (tech services support)


Background requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in Land Surveying

Minimum 2 years’ experience in AutoCad, Civil 3D, or comparable CAD program

Preferred at least 2 year degree in drafting or Survey, or equivalent

Preferred minimum 2 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, or linear projects
