Our organization is seeking a Construction Manager Sr. to join our talented workforce in Tunkhannock, PA.  The Construction Manager Sr. position will be a part of a dynamic team of goal oriented individuals that have a passion for safety, environment and construction.  The motivated individual will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of natural gas pipeline, facility and other construction projects.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of Williams Employees, Contractor Employees and Operating Facilities
  • Ensure strict compliance with all local, state and federal environmental requirements
  • Acts as company field representative
  • Front end planning
  • Construction estimate development and analysis
  • Input on contracting strategy and contractor qualification/selection
  • Oversee contract management
  • Develop QA/QC staffing plans
  • Construction cost/schedule management
  • Liaison activities with Operations, Engineering, Commissioning Team and management
  • Performs and documents audits of inspection processes and documentation requirements
  • Leads construction closeout of project and preparation of the data books and project completion reports and lesson learned.
  • Anticipates and proactively addresses potential issues and claims.
  • Assigned to all sizes of projects or programs.

Qualifications:

A Successful Candidate Will:

  • Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 8 to 10 years on Small to Medium projects with 5 years on Large to Mega projects (>$50 mil)
  • CCM (CMAA) certification
  • Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
  • May lead teams or involved in complex projects.
  • Specialized expertise in the installation of natural gas and oil pipeline and facility construction.

 

A Successful Candidate May:

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management Coordination, Business or other related discipline. (Preferred) 
  • CCCA (CSI) certification
  • CDT (CSI) certification

 

 

*Williams will pay relocation costs for this position.

*Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
