Williams is seeking a motivated Workday Integration Developer with Workday integration, reporting, and functional experience to contribute toward the success of development and maintenance of integrations and reports within Workday HR application.   Works closely with Workday Product Manager and Integration Lead translating requirements into Workday design and development for enterprise HR applications, specifically Workday.  Strong customer focus, participating in development, testing, implementation, and support activities.  Follows ITIL change management and work intake processes utilizing ServiceNow performing change impact analysis tasks.   Assists in the creation of comprehensive unit test plans and creates and executes test cases in line with test plans to meet customer needs.   Participates in investigation, analysis, and resolution of technical problems related to HR System functions, programming, and procedures using Agile methodology.



  • Provides application software development services or technical support for Workday and other HR related applications.
  • Analyzes requirements and maintains, tests and integrates application components. 
  • Perform routine break/fix support and regression testing and support the inbound/outbound integrations to the Workday HR system.
  • Integration scheduling and monitoring.
  • Provide solid knowledge of Workday’s object-oriented data model and approaches to integrations (Connector, EIB and Studio).
  • Provide integration and related workflow solutions within the guidelines of the integration team’s custom request procedures.
  • Create and maintain related calculated fields for integrations; communicate calculated fields needs across areas to avoid redundancy and achieve efficiency.
  • Liaison with Workday Integration Lead for approach reviews and approvals.
  • Work across various platforms that integrate with Workday.
  • Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.
  • Understand and follow data governance.
  • Understand and follow defined integration/development standards and best practices.
  • Understand and follow security and data privacy standards.
  • Perform regression testing on integrations during Workday releases.
  • Applies application software problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Understands and follows software development project management methodology.
  • Follow ITIL processes within ServiceNow.
  • Provide break/fix and small enhancement support for Workday reports.
  • Support the design, build and test of new reports some within BIRT Reporting.
  • Work with technical solution architect resource to maintain a global report inventory. Develop reports, keeping global use in mind to achieve maximum efficiencies.
  • Create and deliver ad hoc and custom reports as requested by HR and IT operations leadership.
  • Work with HR solution architect to understand report requirements and build reports to requirement specifications.
  • Create and maintain related calculated fields for reporting; communicate calculated fields needs across areas to avoid redundancy and achieve efficiency.
  • Responsible for regression testing as needed during Workday releases.
  • Ability to document the report function and design to facilitate maintenance.
  • Understand and follow defined development standards and best practices.
  • Understand data security and privacy standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2- 5 years of experience with Workday data model.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Workday integration tools; Workday Studio, EIB’s, Cloud Connect, BIRT Reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of web services, SOAP, WDSL, XML, XSLT or XPATH.
  • Knowledge of OOP concepts.
  • Workday certified preferred.
  • Functional Workday knowledge with core HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Absence Management, Time Tracking, Compensation, Learning, etc. a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Functional knowledge of a Workday domain area.
  • Composite/Matrix Reporting experience.
