Williams is seeking a motivated Workday Integration Developer Lead with Workday integration, reporting, and functional experience to contribute toward the success of development and maintenance of integrations and reports within Workday HR application.   Works closely with Workday Product Manager and Workday Integration Analyst translating requirements into Workday design and development for enterprise HR applications, specifically Workday.  Strong customer focus, participating in development, testing, implementation, and support activities.  Follows ITIL change management and work intake processes utilizing ServiceNow performing change impact analysis tasks.   Assists in the creation of comprehensive unit test plans and creates and executes test cases in line with test plans to meet customer needs.   Participates in investigation, analysis, and resolution of technical problems related to HR System functions, programming, and procedures using Agile methodology.



  • Provides application software development services or technical support for Workday and other HR related applications.
  • Provide oversight for Workday integration support resource.
  • Represent HRIS/IT as related to Workday application support in partnership with business support resources.
  • Act as owner of all assigned Workday integration and reporting deliverables.
  • Document Interface architecture and plans for implementation with customer/vendors.
  • Provide expert level knowledge of Workday integration framework and data model.
  • Provide interface and related workflow solutions within the guidelines of the interface team’s custom request procedures.
  • Provide technical assistance to other departments in relation to interface development and Workday installation.
  • Provide technical application, integration, reporting support.
  • Understand security and data privacy standards.
  • Reviews release notes and works with integration team and Release Manager to assess impacts and coordinate integration testing.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert and business partner between IT HR Application Product Manager and HRIS, IT groups, and business/end-user team(s).
  • Translates business requirements into technical specifications to formulate technical solutions that conform to best practice standards.
  • Conducts requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, making recommendations based on information collected.
  • Ensure maintenance, development and enhancement of existing application systems meets the organizational business objectives and IT standards.
  • Remediates application system issues through appropriate troubleshooting, incident, change and problem-management standards using ServiceNow.
  • Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefit analyses to align IT solutions with business initiatives.
  • Provide break/fix and small enhancement support for Workday reports.
  • Support the design, build and test of new reports some within BIRT Reporting.
  • Work with technical solution architect resource to maintain a global report inventory. Develop reports, keeping global use in mind to achieve maximum efficiencies.
  • Create and deliver ad hoc and custom reports as requested by HR and IT operations leadership.
  • Work with HR solution architect to understand report requirements and build reports to requirement specifications.
  • Create and maintain related calculated fields for reporting; communicate calculated fields needs across areas to avoid redundancy and achieve efficiency.
  • Responsible for regression testing as needed during Workday releases.
  • Ability to document the report function and design to facilitate maintenance.
  • Understand and follow defined development standards and best practices using Workday’s Agile methodologies.
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
  • Works independently; requires minimal guidance.
  • Works with the defined business and technical requirements to deliver software solutions for implementation into the current environment.
  • Uses their ability to adapt application to serve user needs.
  • Understands and adheres to Williams’ Project Management methodology.

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience with Workday data model.
