Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Business Process Analyst to join our Finance and Accounting group at corporate headquarters in Tulsa, OK.  The Senior Business Systems Process Analyst will provide leadership and expertise in handling “break fix” and enhancement testing, system maintenance, special projects, monthly reports related to property accounting functions and commonality assignments.  This role is specifically related to the administration of the enterprise project and property accounting system (Powerplan) and the related capital management and property accounting processes.  This includes partnering with internal customers in order to develop innovative solutions to customer issues and to have accurate and meaningful reporting and analysis of project and property accounting activity.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Business Partners, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Engineering Services (ES) to provide assistance and support regarding the Powerplan system administration and related property accounting processes. 
  • Lead team in system upgrades and integration projects – Requirements gathering, design, testing and change management.
  • Support ES in cost management system implementation - Requirements gathering, design, testing and change management.
  • Lead team in various efforts related to business requirement gathering, table maintenance, funding transfers, security design, system configurations, incident resolution, and vendor resolution of base code break fix items.  Also serves as the liaison between Williams IT and end users. 
  • Lead process improvement efforts with intent to improve system functionality, efficiency, and drive toward commonality. 
  • Deliver training for the assigned system and processes. 
  • Leads and implements change management techniques to encourage staff to recognize and implement required changes in capital management and system administration in order to facilitate standardization of reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field (Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, etc.)
  • Have eight years plus of directly related financial systems experience. 
  • Possess demonstrated expertise and depth of knowledge in utilizing financial systems as a heavy user or administrator
  • Possess strong leadership skills
  • Demonstrated strong and effective organizational skills and aptitude for project management
  • Demonstrated success with business processes and systems background

 

Preferred:

  • Have knowledge of Powerplan applications, is highly desirable
  • Have previous exposure to capital budgeting and forecasting processes is preferred
  • Process improvement experience in accounting/finance related field is preferred
