  • Responsible for providing legal advice, opinions on strategies and support to the business on matters including but not limited to information technology, data privacy, data security and cybersecurity  
  • Structures, negotiates and interprets agreements in all areas of software licensing and maintenance, IT consulting and telecommunications agreements, including transition of agreements during mergers, acquisitions and divestitures
  • Applies extensive knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations 


Required Experience:

  • Juris Doctor  from American Bar Association-approved law school with excellent academic credentials
  • Member in good standing of a State Bar Association
  • Willingness to take and pass the Oklahoma Bar exam within two years of date of hire
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • 3 years of legal experience (in-house counsel or specialty firm) in information technology, outsourcing and/or privacy and data protection experience


Experience Preferred:

  • 4 - 6 years of legal experience (in-house counsel or specialty firm) in information technology, outsourcing and/or privacy and data protection experience
  • Previous non-legal experience in information technology; crisis management experience in responding to data security incident or inquiries from federal and state agencies or governing regulatory bodies
