Williams is seeking a motivated Java Application Developer with development and SDLC experience to contribute toward the success of development projects for an enterprise application.  Participates in requirements, development, testing, implementation, and support activities.  Performs change impact analysis tasks.  Assists in the creation of comprehensive unit test plans and creates and executes test cases in line with test plans. Participates in design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solutions. Participates in investigation, analysis, and resolution of technical problems related to system functions, programming, and procedures. Assists with post-implementation reviews.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works closely with Business Analyst and project teams to deliver expected solutions
  • Provides systems analysis, design and development, including requirements, design, construction, testing and implementation
  • Provides application software development services or technical support for Maximo
  • Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software application
  • Analyzes requirements and maintains, tests and integrates application components
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions
  • Uses their ability to adapt application to serve user needs
  • Assists with information gathering and documentation, SDLC and testing required ability to interact professionally with all levels of management throughout the company
  • Understands and adheres to Williams’ Project Management and application support and maintenance methodology
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in java application development.
  • 2-3 years of experience with Maximo configuration and development.
  • Exposure to all phases of systems development, especially the design and delivery of web applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
