The position will be responsible for development, testing and support for Quorum applications

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support for eSuite application including:
    • Providing user support
    • Troubleshooting issues
    • Working with system interfaces
    • Working with the application vendor
    • Managing the application environment
  • Provide systems analysis and development for system modifications
  • Skilled at managing multiple simultaneous projects
  • Participate in projects from development through implementation with little/no supervision.

 

Core Competencies

  • Possess specialized, working knowledge and experience with gas measurement, gas contracts, volume management and accounting processes.
  • Works independently with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to solve problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions to improve performance, efficiency and safety.
  • Ability to interpret internal and external customer needs.  Can assess requirements and identify responses to non-standard requests.
  • Can articulate difficult issues and work to build consensus with internal and external peers in customer, vendor or regulatory organizations.
  • Ability to quickly make a range of decisions within guidelines and policies which could impact standard and non-standard functional, operation, process project or service activities.
  • Accountability for small projects or programs with minimal risks and resource requirements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.

 

Job Qualifications/Technology Requirements

  • Prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry preferred
  • Ability to utilize a broad range of tool sets to support multiple applications
    • SQL Plus
    • SQL Developer
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Basic Oracle and SQL database knowledge
    • Basic server knowledge
    • Microsoft Office products
    • C++ (not required but would be a nice to have)
    • Crystal Reports (not required but would be a nice to have)

 

  • Quorum knowledge desired but not required
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work effectively on tight deadlines as necessary
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers.
  • Degree in Mathematics, MIS or Computer Science preferred
  • 4-5 years related experience in business application development
