  • Supervise daily activities of Mechanical Integrity professionals to support the enterprise, ensuring development, training, and certifications are appropriate.
  • Leads Williams efforts for regulatory (PSM) and company compliance related to mechanical integrity, provides support to the Regional MI Staff, and ensures any compliance dates related to PSM Mechanical Integrity are met.
  • Ensure regional staff maintain a centralized Mechanical Integrity database, and ensure that data is properly reviewed and processed in accordance with Williams’s procedures.
  • Facilitate the development of technical Inspection Test Planning, to include damage review processes and process overview correlations (System / Circuit associations and applications)
  • Sets Priorities for team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with MI Manager and Operations Management.
  • Maintain, review, and track action items.  Communicate with company SMEs, Operating Areas, and Group Leadership with weekly updates on program status.
  • Assist in maintaining a production tracking summary of activities for all regional areas, for project tracking as well as program development progress.
  • Maintain regulatory and company compliance while achieving incremental improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of asset integrity processes.
  • Assist in the implementation of Williams Integrated Management System (WIMS) tailored to mechanical integrity.
  • Participate in collaboration efforts with Company Welding SMEs and Metallurgists as well as industry peers to assist in the development of standards and ensure best practices are utilized.
  • Assist in forecasting both for Asset Integrity budget and budgets for individual company franchises.
  • Actively engage and provide timely support for due diligence of asset acquisitions and support the Operating Areas and E&C on projects and incorporation of new assets into the Mechanical Integrity program.




  • Possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and 4 years of Mechanical Integrity Experience (preferred) or 8 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Have specific advanced knowledge in Mechanical Integrity, including a Mechanical Integrity Database and regulatory requirements in the United States.
  • Have demonstrated experience or familiarity with Inspection standards and codes such as: API 510, API 570, API 579, API 580, API 650, API 1104, ASME Sec VIII, ASME Sec V, ASME Sec IX, ASME B31.3 B31G, B31.8, ASNT NDE, and NBIC NB23.
  • Possess advanced skills in project management execution.
  • Have broad technical and facility knowledge of the offshore and onshore gas compression and gas processing industry.
  • Have experience leading a group of professional employees tasked with process/program development and execution in a semi-autonomous environment.
  • Possess demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate affectively in a group environment to ensure productive collaboration with respective operating areas.



  • Possess a Professional Engineering license.
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
  • Possess certifications in API 510, API 570, API 580, API 579, API 650, API 1104 or NBIC NB23.
  • Have knowledge in Non-Destructive Testing (NDE) uses and limitations.
