Survey Coordinator

Williams is looking for a Pipeline Router / Survey Coordinator in our North Canton, Ohio office, working on projects primarily in the Utica and Ohio Supply Hubs and across the Northeast.  This individual performing this role will be a team player, and play a key role on pipeline project teams.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Be a committed member of project teams with great attendance / coordination in project team meetings
  • Project bid review/permitting coordination
  • Facility site selection
  • Desktop routing – designing pipeline routing in office, from public data
  • Windshield reviews – going out to sites to confirm viability of desktops from the vehicle at public access points, Route Development /Permitting vendor coordination with our internal Environmental – Survey – Engineering teams
  • Walk / design Pipeline Routes
  • Review of standards compliance, internal and external
  • Coordination of route walk team, vendor, Project Manager, Right of Way (ROW) and Permitting
  • Responsible for Route Development and Drafting budget
  • Route Development – Purchase Orders
  • Route Development – Change Orders
  • Perform safety audits, JSA, PPE
  • Plan Review-full plan review and uploads for IRDP, RDP, FAP, and IFC
  • Coordinate / Lead map review meetings with the whole project team.
  • Line Status communications and confirmation in GIS
  • Heavy team collaboration with Environmental – Permitting – Construction – Engineering – Land
  • Class detection and XMP updates as required

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 Years’ experience in routing Pipeline
  • Minimum 2 Years’ Experience in Land Surveying
  • Understanding of Pipeline Construction Methods
  • Basic Understanding of Environmental Regulations
  • Preferred degree in Surveying or Engineering
