As an Operation Technician at Williams, the successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, operating and maintaining equipment such as natural gas engines and compressors, electric driven motors, gas processing pneumatic and electronic controls, gas process coolers, pressure relief devices or valves, and distributing process control systems.

 

Responsibilities

•Provide expertise in operating and maintaining all compression assets and equipment in the Utica Supply Hub.

•This equipment includes, but is not limited to: Engines, Compressors, Motors, Pumps, Valves, Coolers, Vessels, and Piping

•Obtain engine oil, lube oil, and coolant samples for analysis

•Responsible for the repair-rebuild of valves and regulators

•Complete maintenance records, service reports and other required documents both manually and electronically

•Willingness to be available for 24 hour/day call out rotation

•Focus on customer and stakeholder satisfaction

•Ability to work in a team environment and well with others

•Ability to work on an individual basis when required

 

 

Qualifications

•Minimum six (6) months experience in related operation of mechanical and electrical equipment

•High school diploma or equivalent

•Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel) and basic PC skills

•Ability to actively troubleshoot and solve problems

•Able to work rotating, nights, and weekend shifts when required and based on fulfilling customer needs

•Previous experience with rotating equipment

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•Ablility to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat for extended periods of time

•Willingness to accurately operate 4wheel drive company vehicles

•Ability to work in extremely hot and cold temperatures and enclosed spaces

•Ability to carry and lift items that can weigh 50 lbs. or more

  

Preferred

•Associate’s degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Control, or Electrical Technology
