Our Organization is seeking an Operations Technician II (Gathering).


The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, inspection, maintenance and repair of equipment such as:  Compression, Dehydration/Thermal Oxidizer Units, Condensate Pumps, Instrument Air Systems, Separation, filtration, piping systems gas and liquid, measurement, instruments and controls, Pigging, Etc.



  • Entry Level position with basic technical and operational tasks under direct supervision •Solves routine problems and has very limited decision making authority
  • Perform a wide range of proficiencies such as: Pigging, Liquid Surging, Dehydration, Separation, Electrical Pneumatics, Storage Tank Level/Inventory, Mapping, valve maintenance, Right of Ways (ROW)
  • Maintain and operate gas/liquid gathering pipelines Operate and maintain dehydration, treating, and processing equipment
  • Maintain all records, reports, as requirement for compliance purposes
  • Obtain natural gas samples for analysis
  • Repair and/or rebuild valves and regulators
  • Witness meter calibrations
  • Reciprocating compressor operation
  • Communicate and interact well with supervision, co-workers, other departments, customers, landowners, contractors, and regulatory agencies.




  • A minimum of 2 year's experience in the oil and gas or related industry
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Available for on-call rotation as needed
  • Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, be comfortable driving in difficult road conditions that can consist of ice, snow, and/or mud
  • Operate a 4X4 Vehicle
  • Be eligible to obtain a DOT license.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
  • Be team oriented, and internal and external customer focused
  • Maintain excellent technical, interpersonal, and administrative skills.



  • Possess an Associates’ degree in Instrumentation, Controls Technology, Electrical, Mechanical, or Plant Operations.
  • Discipline-specific license or certification in relevant specialty.
