Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our workforce. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead project teams and oversee the design, permitting, and construction of civil infrastructure associated with natural gas compressor stations and the design, routing, and permitting of natural gas pipelines.



  • Lead efforts and project teams to improve operability, maintainability, and reliability of existing assets.
  • Interface with consultant engineering firms, internal engineering, drafting, purchasing, inspection, contracts, planning, and operations personnel.
  • Responsibilities could include engineering design, scope development, cost estimating, and development of equipment specifications.
  • Participate in commissioning, and start-up of new and modified facilities.
  • Utilize computer modeling and data analysis tolls to aid in the evaluation, justification, and development of solutions to problems and/or opportunities.
  • Develop documentation and studies as necessary for projects that require authorization from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
  • Influence decisions that improve reliability and operability, reduce operating costs, and create a sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Utilize systems, processes, and support the subject matter expert to aid in decision making and potential project development.
  • Provide technical support to all functional departments, as part of troubleshooting, regulatory compliance, and optimization, during routine operations, start-up, and turnarounds.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the overall coordination of process design inputs from other engineering disciplines.
  • Ability to mentor, develop and train the 0 – 4 year engineers.

A Successful Candidate Will:

  • Possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
  • Have 8-12 years of engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, but still acquiring higher level knowledge and capabilities.
  • PE license Preferred.



*This position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
