Looking for a strong originator to generate large economically attractive investment opportunities that are supportive of our strategy.  The Business Development Director role will lead business development initiatives and be part of a team that will evaluate mergers, acquisitions and divestitures that are designed to increase EBITDA and optimize the value of our assets consistent with our overall strategy. This position will be responsible for providing updates to executive leadership regarding the initiatives. Will also be responsible for coordinating technical, economic, regulatory, and legal matters evaluation of the initiative. Creativity, initiative and collaboration between stakeholders will be keys to achievement; coupled with a consistent ability to drive transactions to closure and meet set deadlines.


Main areas of responsibility:

  • Maintain a wide range of knowledge regarding the natural gas, NGLs and Crude business
  • Identification, evaluation and recommendation of new business opportunities
  • Leverage existing relationships to identify and recommend quality business opportunities
  • Develop and nurture material, strong and enduring high-level customer relationships (C-Level)
  • Obtain results as measured by growth in EBITDA
  • Creation and closure of deals that are accretive to the Williams portfolio


Qualifications, Education and Experience requirements:

  • 15+ years of industry experience
  • Demonstrated success in commercial negotiation
  • Experience developing and closing complex energy deals
  • Exposure to upstream, downstream and midstream assets
