Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Asset Integrity Specialist II in Channelview, TX.

 

Requirements

The successful candidate will join the Asset Integrity Team, as a Specialist in Channelview, TX. This person will take all annual DOT compliance readings, take annual Rectifier readings, Install Ground Beds, perform Close Interval Surveys, perform troubleshooting for Cathodic Protection Systems, and assess external and internal corrosion features as part of ILI/recoat projects. 

 

This individual will work with field and office based technical personnel as needed for operations and maintenance in addition to performing troubleshooting efforts and correcting operational issues related to Cathodic Protection rectifier systems on Williams’ petrochemical pipeline assets.

 

He or she will be directly responsible for supporting construction projects throughout the division and ensuring that asset integrity needs are met.  This position may require offshore travel by boat or helicopter as work dictates.

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Possess a High School Diploma.         
  • Previous pipeline corrosion experience.
  • Possess or have the ability to obtain NACE CP Technician certification and CIP I certification.

 

Preferred

  • Possess an Associate’s degree.
  • Have knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Parts 192 and 195.
  • Have previous leadership experience.
  • Have previous experience in coatings and the applications thereof.
  • Have experience in Integrity Management, Cathodic Protection, Risk Management or coatings.
  • Possess or have the ability to obtain a NACE Internal Corrosion Technologist.
