Our Organization is seeking a highly skilled Operation Technician I to be part of our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, operating and maintaining equipment such as glycol dehydrators, cryogenic processing equipment, amine treating equipment, fired heaters, turbines, pumps, engines, compressors, gas processing pneumatic and electronic controls, and distributing process control systems.



  • Maintain and operate all compressor station equipment and facilities including engine driven reciprocating natural gas compressors and their ancillary equipment such as: Pumps, Filters Storage Tanks, Air Compressors Auxiliary Generator, Heaters, Fin Fans, Pneumatic devices, Running tubing or piping.
  • Housekeeping/maintaining buildings, warehouses, auxiliary building, shop, locker room, lunch room, control room, meeting room.
  • Maintain and/or operate all pipeline facilities including valves, piping, right-of-way, Meter Stations, River Crossings and equipment. 
  • Operate Tractors, Weed eater, Chain Saws, Pole Saws.
  • Test Valves and Automatic Opening Devices.
  • Inspect Foreign Construction.
  • Mark Out Pipeline Facilities.
  • Dig Trenches by hand.
  • Install Cathodic Protection Systems.
  • Abrasive Blasting, painting of piping.
  • Following procedures and policies.
  • Driving safely using the Smith System.
  • This position requires participation in the Operations Development Plan (ODP). 



High school diploma required. 

Applicant must be self-motivated with willingness and ability to work unsupervised. 


Physical Requirements: 

standing/walking, climbing stairs, ladders, scaffolds; bending/stooping/squatting; carrying and lifting items which sometimes weigh more than 45 lbs. 

Working Conditions:  Exposure to extreme heat and/or cold temperatures; high noise levels; enclosed spaces, working in tight areas.
