Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Engineer Sr to join our workforce at our Connellsville, PA location.  The primary responsibility of this role is to lead project teams and also provide engineering support for project teams on major capital projects and modifications to existing facilities.  Projects may include pipeline expansions, meter stations, compressor facility modifications, and processing plant modifications. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering design, scope refinement, cost estimating, development of project design specifications, and support construction.
  • Oversee project activities of third party project managers, consulting engineers, construction inspectors, and contractors.
  • Participate in planning, engineering and design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of new and modified facilities and pipelines.
  • Utilize computer modeling and data analysis tools to aid in the evaluation, justification, and development of solutions to problems and/or opportunities.
  • Influence decisions that improve reliability and operability, reduce operating costs, and create a sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Utilize systems, processes, and support the subject matter expert to aid in decision making and potential project development.
  • Translate project plans into coherent, credible, realistic project schedules.
  • Prepare and provide schedule progress and risk reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis.

     

Functional/Technical Competencies:

  • Have advanced computer experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Projects, PowerPoint, and Excel Work products.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and work within project deadlines, and adjust as priorities changes occur

Qualifications:

A Successful Candidate Will:

  • Possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Have 8-12 years of engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, but still acquiring higher level knowledge and capabilities.
  • Have experience in pipeline, compressor, and processing operations.
  • Have experience with project engineering, construction and commissioning of natural gas pipelines, processing facilities, or related equipment.
  • Excellent oral and written skills, the ability to organize, coordinate and negotiate solutions as well as skills in computer applications.
  • A PE license preferred.
